Westerly Creek Metropolitan District ( the "District") is a quasi-governmental entity, located in the Central Park community of Denver, Colorado.
Approximately three percent (3%) of the total mill levy goes for maintenance and operating costs of Westerly Creek, in-tract parks and other public facilities that are not operated or maintained by the City.
At the completion of the development process and upon retirement of the Park Creek bonds which is estimated to be in December 2051, approximately ninety-seven percent (97%) of the total mill levy will no longer be necessary.

As you can see on the Abstract of Votes (https://whitebearankele.com/abstracts-of-votes/) there is a tie for the third seat. As required by Section 1-13.5-1306, C.R.S, the Designated Election Official is ordering a recount of the votes cast. The recount will be completed no later than May 30th, as required by statute. Only candidates who appear on the ballot are allowed to observe the recount; the DEO will reach out to the candidates later this week to inform them of when the recount will be conducted.
